great location but missing a few touches
The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the sea front. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The owner was very accommodating, even arranging an early check-in for us. The aroma from the breakfast area was delightful, although we did not partake. One guest mentioned the presence of a mini fridge in their room for added comfort, which would have been a nice touch.
A few more parking spaces would have been ideal.

Had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was outstanding, and I loved the mini fridge in my room for extra comfort. Just wished there were more parking spaces available.

Staying at Summerlands was a mixed bag. Jane, the host, made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. She went out of her way to accommodate our request for an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh coffee and a good selection of options. The family room we booked was equipped with useful amenities like tea and coffee facilities, fridge, and USB points, making our stay comfortable. noise from the main road was quite disturbing, especially at night, affecting our sleep. The small size of the room made it a bit cramped for two adults with luggage, with hardly any space to maneuver around. On the parking front, the situation was frustrating. Upon arrival, there were no spaces available, despite being promised one.

Clean rooms with fresh bedding and modern amenities like a fridge, kettle, and USB points provide a comfortable stay.
The room was quite small, with a hazardously close fireplace, and breakfast options were limited to basic cereals with no fresh fruit. Although parking was advertised, the few available spaces were occupied, making it inconvenient to find alternative parking.

Couple looking for a cozy stay
First off, Lulu was cute and made sure we were settled in immediately. We even had a little fan in our room, which was a lifesaver with the warm weather! The attention to detail in service was noticeable, especially when Lulu refilled our tea and coffee every day without us asking
Wasn't exactly cheap, though I'd say it was worth it in the end.

Comfortable Family Retreat Near the Beach
Our family enjoyed 2 nights in a well-decorated ensuite room with fantastic amenities. The addition of a fan was crucial during warm days. We appreciated being just a 5-minute stroll from the beautiful beach and local eateries. Can't wait to visit again!
